How it works

Choosing your car

For a quick and easy solution, choose a car from our broad range of cars in stock. If you’re happy to wait a bit longer, we can order in a specific car and provide you with a lead-in car in the meantime. We also offer a part-exchange service on your old car.

Making an application

To get things moving, contact us for an application form or download one here. From the information you provide, we’ll assess your eligibility for the car you’re interested in and provide an answer within 48 hours. If for any reason you’re unsuccessful, we’ll suggest options that are better suited to your budget.

Getting your car insured

You’ll need to arrange insurance for your new car. This must be fully comprehensive, in your name, and must be in place ready for when you collect your car from us.

Delivery & collection

When you have your first car from us, you will need to collect it from our Sheffield office. This allows us to complete all paperwork correctly and answer any questions. After that, we can arrange for subsequent cars to be delivered and collected anywhere in mainland UK.

Maintaining your agreement

For complete flexibility, our agreements are 89 days long. Since most of our customers want to keep their cars for much longer, we simply send you an email near to the renewal date which allows you to quickly and easily e-Sign a new agreement.

Mileage updates

Each month we’ll contact you by email and text to ask you to submit your mileage update. This information allows us to manage your account and pro rata mileage allowance. If it looks like you might go over your mileage allowance, we can adjust your plan so that you avoid excess mileage charges.

Changing your car

Our unique offering provides flexibility and choice. We’ll get in touch when it’s time to change your car for something new, usually every 6 to 12 months. Where available, we’ll provide a replacement as close to your original car as possible or you can choose something different from our stock list.

Dealing with damage

We hope you’ll do your best to look after your car but we understand that accidents can happen. We operate a very fair ‘wear and tear’ policy and since we have an in-house vehicle repair centre, we offer very competitive damage repair rates. Alternatively, you can use your own repair centre.

Fines & charges

Speeding, parking, congestion and traffic offence charges can be very frustrating. Unfortunately, if you pick any fines up you will need to settle this with the relevant authority. As soon as we’re notified, we’ll send you details of the charge so that you can deal with it directly.

Vehicle maintenance & tyres

The beauty of flexi-rental over car ownership is that you don’t need to worry about the maintenance. For your peace of mind, all of our cars are fully maintained at our cost and we cover fair wear and tear on tyre replacement. You are also covered by 24-hour breakdown and recovery.

Driving your car abroad

Planning a trip to Europe? You can take your EVOGO car abroad, for up to two weeks, so long as you give us notification. You will be responsible for travel insurance, maintenance, servicing and international breakdown. Don’t forget that each country has its own rules of the road. Find a useful guide here.
